Our Next district dance will be Hosted by

March 20, 2010, Alamo Squares of Alamogordo hosted the District Dance in Alamogordo, NM.  Dance is from 2 to 4pm.  The Alamo Squares hosted the 2nd Red Hot-Red Hat dance and a Hot Time In The Old House was had by all!  We had 8 squares and a lot of the new dancers.  It was a great dance.  Ted Clements called another Red Hot/Red Hat Dance.  Sorry if you missed it.

January 16th, 2010.  Sierra Twirlers of Truth or Consequences hosted the district dance.  Dance was held at the T or C Youth Center at 300 Daniels, T or C.  Area and State Callers.  We raised over $300 for the State Festival in May, 2010.  This was the first district dance hosted by the Sierra Twirlers and it was a great dance.  They really know how to cook in T or C.  The Dance was called by the district callers.  Thanks to the Sierra Twirlers!!  GREAT JOB!!

October 31st, 2009 - Silver City Square hosted the district dance on Halloween and everyone had a Howling Good Time!  Jerry Gilbreath from Albuquerque was our caller and everyone enjoyed his calling.  It was a great day and a great dance!  Sorry if you missed it. 

July 18th, 2009 - Alamo Squares hosted our district dance.  It was a Red Hot, Red Hat Dance.  And was it HOT!  Ted Clements called the dance.  We had a great group and lots of fun!  If we do this next year maybe we could find a hall in Cloudcroft, in the tall Pines.

April 18th, 2009 at the Belton Bridge Center in Las Cruces, NM.  Rusty Wright was our caller and Jim and Linda Klein were cueing.  Pre-rounds began at 1:30 PM and Squares began at 2:00 PM.  We had a great time.  Gregg & Lynn Tillery, NMSRDA Presidents and several other state officers were in attendance.  Sorry if you were unable to join us.

The State Square and Round Dance Festival was hosted by the Central District in Albuquerque at the Albuquerque Square Dance Center May 15, 16, 17, 2009.  It featured the callers from the New Mexico Callers Association and State Cuer's.  Everyone had a great time.  Tom and Marlene Kelly from Los Alamos were inducted into the Hall of Fame.

September 20th, 2008 - District Dance held at the Theater in Fort Bayard, NM.  It was a beautiful fall day and everyone had a great time.  Sorry if you were unable to join us.
